[The author in her preface writes “The sculptures I have been permitted to describe as those of Brynhild Ingmar are by Katherine Maltwood of London, a sculptor more deeply imbued with the spirit of Asia than any other known to me. To her I dedicate this book.”

The recipient of such high praise was her close friend and kindred spirit Katherine Emma Maltwood, author of several books on ‘The Glastonbury Zodiac’. Many of her sculptures and other works can be viewed in The Maltwood Collection at the University of Victoria Art Collections.]
